My POSTER.

First,I used to eclipse tool and make it into yellow colour.

Then using the mesh tool and blended in these 3 colours to resemble the earth tone -red/green/blue.

then,I put black colour as my background to make the eclipse to stand out a little.

Then I used the text to type out my quotes.
TURN DOWN-BLUE
SWITCH OFF-BLACK
GREEN-RECYCLE
CHANGE-RED

ASSIGNMENT TWO !!

First sketch using illustrator,

Using the pen tool,I did a house,to symbolize the greenhouse.

Next,

I filled them up with colours .I used 'hot tones' to show the effects of greenhouse which was climate changes/temperature rising.I used red/orange/yellow to show the sky and light green/darkgreen fer the ground and the house.

Then using th gradient and mesh tools.I tried to combined the colours to give the HOT LOOK ALIKE EFFECT.And this would be the final outcome.

For this assignment two,I've played with the colors more to show the effect of climate changing due to greenhouse.

the process of finding smaller topics.

GLOBAL WARMING
-> GREEN HOUSE ->CLIMATE CHANGE

Infos - climate change.

I'm choosing a smaller topic from GREENHOUSE,which is climate change for my 2nd assignment.

What is climate change?

People talk a lot about the weather, which is not surprising when you consider the impact it has on our mood, on how we dress and on what we eat. 'Climate' however is not the same as the weather. It is the average pattern of weather for a particular region over a long period of time.

The climate has and will always vary for natural reasons. Natural causes of this include fractional changes in solar radiation, volcanic eruptions that can shroud the Earth in dust which reflects the heat from the sun back into space, and natural fluctuations in the climate system itself.

However, natural causes can explain only a small part of this warming. The overwhelming majority of scientists agree that it is due to rising concentrations of heat-trapping greenhouse gases in the atmosphere caused by human activities.

My idea strucked! :P

Idea strucked while I was doing my window shopping in sunway pyramid during the weekend!

It's just some symbols with wordings on it.I find in fairly interesting and I might come up with a greenhouse symbol with a similiar effects.

I've choosed my area on GLOBAL WARMING!

I've decided to get into the area of 'green house' cause I'm a nature lover and I hate it when this global warming issue affects our nature. So yeah,I've done some research and here are the details bout the ..

GREENHOUSE!

First I asked myself, what does the greenhouse effect have to do with global warming?

It's all abouttttt the temperature .The green house effect refers to the natural phenomenon that keeps the earth in a standard temperature. What I know is,without the green hosue effect the earth might have been frozen or melt without the right temperature.

So i googled search some existing symbol of 'greenhouse' and global warming.Im trying to create a symbol that really connects both of this group.

and these are the symbols I managed to find online ..

Global Warming - 1

What is GLOBAL WARMING?!

When our tutor asked us to design a symbol that reflects global warming,I was realy blur.Cause I dont have the basic idea on what it is.But automaticly,my mind sketched an idea on how would the symbol of global warming looked like. The picture below was my 'priamry school standard' of creativitity. So Im just posting it here to show it off :P

These(below) are the infos that I got online bout global warming :)

The Planet Is Heating Up—and Fast
Glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, cloud forests are drying, and wildlife is scrambling to keep pace. It's becoming clear that humans have caused most of the past century's warming by releasing heat-trapping gases as we power our modern lives. Called greenhouse gases, their levels are higher now than in the last 650,000 years and bla bla blaa.

We call the result global warming, but it is causing a set of changes to the Earth's climate, or long-term weather patterns, that varies from place to place. As the Earth spins each day, the new heat swirls with it, picking up moisture over the oceans, rising here, settling there. It's changing the rhythms of climate that all living things have come to rely upon.
What will we do to slow this warming? How will we cope with the changes we've already set into motion? While we struggle to figure it all out, the face of the Earth as we know it—coasts, forests, farms and snow-capped mountains—hangs in the balance.

So yeah,I've learned a little on what's global warming actually is.It's in a group of green house effects, polar ice caps , de-forestation,etc.So im going to next level.By choosing the area in global warming and come up with some ideas on symbol!!
